OUR Current RESEARCH StudyParticipate in the Farm Culture Survey
We’re working with farmers across Canada to better understand the values, beliefs, and experiences that shape life in agriculture and how these relate to mental health and help-seeking.
This study will help inform future programs, tools, and supports designed specifically for farmers.
Eligibility: live in Canada, work full-time or part-time in farming and are 18 years of age or olderYo
Why the Farm Culture Study matters
Mental health in agriculture looks different.
Farm life is shaped by identity, responsibility, and long-term pressures that aren’t always visible from the outside. To build meaningful support, we need to better understand how farmers think about their work, their challenges, and what it means to ask for help.
Your perspective helps ensure that future support reflects real life in agriculture.
How does it work?
This is a short, 20-minute online survey. Participation is voluntary, and your responses will remain anonymous and confidential.
The questions focus on your experience in agriculture, including what being a farmer means to you, the challenges you face, and how you think about mental health and support.
Who can participate?
You may be eligible if you:
live in Canada
work full-time or part-time in farming
are 18 years of age or older
