FOR MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

If you work in mental health and have experience or interest in supporting farming communities, there are opportunities to get involved.

This includes building a deeper understanding of farm life, developing practical skills for working with farmers, and helping expand access to mental health support that reflects the realities of agriculture.

  • We are building a network of mental health professionals who understand agriculture and can provide support that reflects the realities of farm life in Alberta

    As part of the Alberta Farmer Therapy Network, therapists offer short-term counselling to farmers and farm families through a structured, funded program.

    This pilot is currently focused in Rocky View County, with plans to expand as the program grows.
