We're co-hosting a Central Alberta Mixer with Young Agrarians in Camrose! Registration is free!

This full-day gathering is designed for new and aspiring farmers who want to connect, learn, and build relationships that support a stronger local food system.

What to expect

  • Conversations focused on creativity, entrepreneurship, and inclusive pathways into farming

  • A panel of local first-generation farmers sharing their journeys, barriers, lessons learned, and breakthroughs

  • Breakout sessions on Treaty teachings, veggie farming for healthy soils, grazing animals for resilient farm ecosystems, and farm start-up business support with an expert from AFSC

  • A delicious potluck lunch and a locally sourced, catered community dinne
