Join Us for a Farm Succession Event with Young Agrarians
We are partnering with Young Agrarians for a workshop on farm succession and transitions. This event brings together farmers, experts, and community members to share knowledge and practical strategies for planning the future of your farm.

We’re excited to welcome Annessa Good-Hassard, who will open the day with insights on succession and land access. I will follow with a session on the social and psychological aspects of succession planning, drawing on research and real-world examples from across Canada.
After the presentations, we’ll host an interactive panel featuring local farmers and an expert from AFSC. You’ll hear firsthand experiences and have the chance to ask questions that matter to you.
In the afternoon, Young Agrarians will lead a Transition Café, a guided, small-group conversation where participants can explore succession topics in a supportive setting. This is a great opportunity to connect with peers, share your goals, and leave with clear next steps.
Whether you’re just starting to think about succession or looking to deepen your plan, this event will give you tools and connections to move forward with confidence.
