AgWell was proud to partner with Young Agrarians to host two powerful days focused on farm transitions, identity, and the future of agriculture in Central Alberta.
Together, we brought farmers, new and aspiring producers, educators, community members, and researchers into the same room. That mix matters. Farm succession is not only a financial or legal process. It is personal, relational, and deeply tied to identity.

AgWell presents at Alberta SPCA Animal Welfare Symposium
We joined partners from the Alberta SPCA at the Animal Welfare Symposium to highlight a project focused on improving support for farmers and their animals. The session was part of the inaugural Animal Welfare Symposium hosted by the Alberta SPCA, which brought together community leaders to explore complex issues at the intersection of animal welfare and human well-being.
Supporting the 2025 Woolliams Farms Charity Golf Classic

Presenting at the Rural & Remote Medicine Conference
Dr. Rebecca at AgWellAB has partnered with other leading researchers in farmer mental health to study this important topic and foster real change. Our team includes Dr. Michelle Pavloff from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Dr. Briana Hagen from the Canadian Centre of Agricultural Wellbeing, Dr Andria Jones from the University of Guelph and Dr. Joe Wiebe from the University of Alberta.
